The simulation outlines the decisions the new President Abraham Lincoln had to make concerning Fort Sumter. As you read the decisions that Lincoln was faced with, determine alternative solutions that could have been made. Be able to defend your alternative solutions. Activity accessed at: http://www.tulane.edu/~sumter/ . Choose one decision on which you disagreed with President Lincoln. Write a proposal of what you think he should have done differently. Post the proposal on the discussion board. Class discussion on the merits of the various proposals and the impact each might have made on the situation.
